Practitioner Collaboration
When you are busy doing your job, finding time to market yourself, network with other professionals, and keep up with the research can be overwhelming. We are working to lesson the load. Nurture Appalachia highlights infant feeding practitioners serving families in the high country (for free), and is building a library of literature summaries relevant to the field.
Literature Summaries
Nurture Appalachia is committed to supporting infant feeding outcomes in the high country. We believe that includes improving practitioner uptake of current research. As we read new publications related to infant feeding practices, we summarize and link here for easy review and discussion.
If you would like to join the volunteer team and contribute summaries, let us know!
Help families find you.
Maintaining an online presence can be expensive and time consuming. While our mountain community relies heavily on relationships and word-of-mouth, parents at home with newborns often have just enough energy for a browser search. Help families find you by letting us include your practice in our list of local resources.
We have asked around and pre-populated our list, so you may already be included. If not, please fill out our practitioner information form and we will add you.
